The Solar Eclipse in air sign Aquarius highlights the balance between logic and intuition. There is something the logical left-brain needs to let go of so that connection to guidance or spiritual insight can happen. An old belief, something you thought you knew.
Disruption! This letting go process could take place suddenly and unexpectedly, as this Aquarius Eclipse squares its modern ruler, Uranus— planet of surprises. And its other ruling planet Saturn— planet of the rules is currently weak in Aries and also tangled up with Neptune— the rules are not clear.
The disruption could take place in the house in your chart that has 28° Aquarius on the cusp. – How does the Eclipse affect your chart?
It’s a North Node Eclipse, putting the focus of this eclipse cycle on growth, learning, and forward movement. Be ready for obstacles to move or clear in a surprising, unexpected, or explosive way– perhaps not today, but within the next 6 months as this Eclipse story plays out.
Until then, make sure your tech systems are backed up and your car is up to date on maintenance. And keep an open mind, but not so open that your brains fall out!
Saturn conjunct Neptune in the very beginning of the Zodiac brings a new beginning. A birth of something. A candle flame in the fog of confusion that has hung over this entire month’s astrology. The fog will begin to clear soon, and it will be more apparent what the truth of the matter is. Or the truth of yourself and what you really want. We are in the very early stages of working to develop an identity, know who we really are. That’s the work now that Saturn is out of emotional Pisces and in fiery, headstrong Aries. Saturn in Aries will test those foundations and invite a rebuild over the next 2-3 years.
You might have more energy to play and move around as the week unfolds and Mars in cold Aquarius moves closer to aspect with Chiron in hot Aries. Maybe the frozen world– whether yours is literal ice like mine or emotional, metaphorical ice in your life– something frozen might just thaw out a bit around the end of the week as Mars sextiles healing Chiron, also in Aries– allowing for forward progress on a years-long journey of healing invisible wounds to your sense of self.
For the next 6 months, as this Eclipse energy plays out, gently stretch into those literal or metaphorical stiff and stuck places when they come up in any of your bodies– physical, etheric, emotional– wherever those obstacles arise.
