Hello again, astro-friend. It feels like 18 years have passed since the Solar Eclipse a month ago! So much has shifted in this Eclipse season. Some exciting, some very challenging. How are you doing this exciting week? Happy Equinox! Happy end of Mercury retrograde!
In January, I finally faced the reality that I have been experiencing a gradual increase in my mercury toxicity symptoms. My head was starting to ache again, the volume on my tinnitus was gradually increasing. My patience was getting shorter.
About 12 years ago, I was very sick. In my desperation to get better, I discovered a protocol that was key in my recovery. I had chronic mercury toxicity from dental fillings, and as my body burden was quite high, small amounts of mercury continue release out of deeper tissues over the years.
So I decided to revisit my chelation protocol, which is not easy, for 3 months. February through April. I have been writing about my experience a little bit and sharing what I know here – Mercurialism. Some of the posts are members only, just because I don’t want them public. Membership is free though.
Detox often increases your symptoms for a while before you get the payoff. The most challenging for me has been the loss of my ability to regulate my mind and keep it on task, instead it obsesses over new shiny things. My latest exploration is Lenormand oracle. The cards and the techniques can be really simple and practical, and deep and profound too, often at the same time. Super cool. Maybe I’ll figure out a way to share it with you at some point. But I do apologize for falling behind with my weekly astrology forecast posts.

Let’s talk about the New Moon!

Things are looking a little one sided! With a lot of vibes in emotional Pisces and competitive, desire-driven Aries. But the energy also has some lovely connections influencing it, as the New Moon’s ruling planet Jupiter is exalted– well-placed, in Cancer. Jupiter is also in a synergistic mutual reception with the New Moon herself, connecting feeling with generosity, expansiveness, and growth. We love to see a way forward after that jarring Eclipse season that just took place.
The New Moon’s other ruling planet, Neptune, appears in Aries, sign of identity. Next to Saturn in Aries. Saturn entering Aries signaled a big shift. The emotional lessons of the past 2-3 years are done. Now is time to focus on your own dang self. What are YOU going to do? Yes, the North Node and the New Moon are in compassionate Pisces now. And Mercury is retrograde in Pisces now. The urge to rescue, blame, or claim helplessness is strong. The Drama Triangle beckons. But Saturn in Aries now reminds us that new cycles are popping off left and right. And calls for us all to keep our own side of the street clean.
Thing is, as soon as Saturn moved into Aries he was immediately hit with Neptune’s vibes– a massive wall of confusion, avoidance, a lack of clarity around something brand new– 00° Aries. Saturn is moving away from Neptune now, meaning clarity will gradually find its way back in to the picture as a new cycle begins to constellate and take shape. And the first step is to figure out what you want and who you are. Focus on your own dang self.
This New Moon appears at an emotional letting go point. The end of Pisces. That’s where you find the deepest held avoidance, illusion, and toxicities. When the breakthrough comes, it’s like a snake coming out of its old skin. You can see clearly again. You can move more easily through the world. You have more space to be you. Insights about an ending in your life may come through dreams, songs, poetry, or intuitive messages.
This New Moon is also an excellent time to release an addiction or bad habit.
Even if the energy feels heavy at times, there is joy of expansion to be had right now when you embrace what you truly want and need, and figure out what you need to do to get it.
