Look at all those planets in cold sign Aquarius as the Moon waxes to Full in fiery Leo to open this week, bringing some warmth and passion to the otherwise icy cold (but warming) scene.
In the background, you might be experiencing a new beginning, a seed of a spiritual path or a new spirit guide who will become more important as Neptune advances through Aries. A guide who will help you find a middle ground between burning your bridges and sacrificing yourself and your needs.
There’s a bit of tension in this Full Moon chart that calls on us to be patient and gracious with delays and mishaps as we endure a cold spell (perhaps in more ways than one), but not to give up on our passions and personal desires. Important emotional work is taking place. If you embrace it and allow a cycle to close, you will be available and ready for a new cycle to open when Saturn steps into Aries for good.
How do you know the cycle is ready to end? Maybe you’re tolerating the intolerable? Maybe you even took that on with a sense of duty that has been falling heavier and heavier in the last 2-3 years? Like sacrificing your needs when you’re miserable and hurting makes you virtuous? A better person somehow?
Saturn scraping through the end of Pisces asks for a deep dive into emotional work. The deepest compassion, avoidance, and boundarylessness of late Pisces faces a call to accountability from Saturn. You might not show that deepest stuff to others, but don’t hide it from yourself.
And Neptune just stepped out into Aries last week. Maybe you’re having dreams or feeling like things have sped up recently. This is a significant generational shift out of Pisces, where Neptune has been since 2011.
The Full Moon opens the week, and then we begin to see a series of red clouds of confusion that will increase in size as Saturn moves closer to Neptune before their meeting in the Cardinal Degree of Aries, the starting point of the entire Zodiac– a place of beginner’s luck, magic, and new ideas, as well as chaos, anger, and fear of not being seen, heard, or understood. There is a lot of potential for spiritual growth, but also misguided anger, action before all the facts are known, toxic behavior– in this masculine sign of Aries. Unlike many outer planet contacts that repeat themselves over time, we only get one pass of Saturn conjunct Neptune, in these next few weeks.
How to use the energy? Work your Neptune. Face your fears. Welcome disillusionment as the gift that it is. Work with spirit guides, work through artistic or psychic blockages. Work into the darkness until the light comes. There is an ending, and there is a BOOM new beginning, but stand back and let the truth emerge before you make a major decision. Springtime starts to look much different.
Meanwhile, mind the little red padlock around Wednesday – that might look like a message that is shocking or unhinged or unexpected.
