Here are the basics of the Eclipse chart –

South Node Eclipse – this means that the energy of this Eclipse centers on letting go, processing out. In everyday terms, the cosmic toilet is flushing.

Eclipse in Virgo – this means that letting go will center on routines that don’t make sense anymore, critical mindsets that might not be protecting you anymore. Things in your life that you have been making too complicated.

Lunar Eclipse – this means the energy is dramatic (Full Moon) and emotional. It’s about something emerging in your life from your inner experience rather than from the outside.

Good news – the Lunar Eclipse sextiles Jupiter, planet of good luck, abundance, and optimism. If you embrace the task before you, you can have great success.

So-so news – the Lunar Eclipse’s ruling planet, Mercury, is weak. Mercury is retrograde and in the sign of its detriment, Pisces. I can see this popping up barriers to communication, especially if there is a bad faith dealer, or someone hiding from the consequences of their actions. Mercury in Pisces can be quite an avoidant energy that gets frustrating for people who are used to communicating more directly and straightforwardly. Be cautious in situations where you don’t know what you don’t know.

Timing – The Lunar Eclipse and the Solar Eclipse 2 weeks ago stay in effect for 6 months, until the next Eclipse season in the Fall. If you think of an Eclipse as “changing the wallpaper” then it makes sense. This wallpaper stays up until the next set of Eclipses switches the vibe to something else.
