...well, it’s funny to me. We gets our kicks where we can.
I belong to an internet group called Freecycle. It’s a nationwide organization that has local groups all over the U.S. It’s a very Neptunian idea.. keep useful stuff out of landfills by giving it away for free. You post an e-mail to the group letting folks know what you have to give away, and people get in touch with you to make arrangements to pick it up. I did this when I cleaned out our storage shed. My old junk was gone within three days. People can also post messages to ask for things. (freecycle.org)
A woman in a very sad situation posted a desperate prayer request to the group. Very innocent. Suddenly a great debate erupted over whether requests for nonmaterial things such as prayer requests should be allowed. Because the list is already very busy, with members receiving 100 or more messages per day, and some people are interested in keeping traffic to a minimum. It apparently became very heated, with people sending many pleas to the poor group moderator, pro or anti nonmaterial requests.
Here’s the latest from the group’s moderator:
“We’ve heard from the people for “non-thing” posts, the people against “non-thing” posts, and the people who are sick of hearing from the people with opinions about “non-thing” posts. I think all sides of the issue have been presented, and if I see one more post on ANY aspect of the topic, including how sick you are of it, this whole group’s going on moderation until I think you’re safe to be let loose again. (If you need clarification, write me, not the group – if it seems like a common question, I’ll post the answer to the group.) And please, folks, once again – DON’T send nasty personal e-mails to each other about it, either…I can’t moderate those and I shouldn’t have to wish that I could…”
I know it’s sad and I feel for her, but I can’t help finding it hilarious in light of Mars square Neptune. Fighting over prayers.

Yikes! I have Mars Square Neptune in my natal chart -- also Mars opposite Saturn (so Saturn square Neptune as well). It's not dull I can say that...2 · GIN · 15 December 2005
ok, the mortgage co. wants the house back, the landlord for the lot has given me till tom. to pay him, cable was turned off yesterday, my job is offering me 3 hrs. a day until they get me another client! that is just the external stuff, I can't seem to snap out of this frozen mental state on what to do!!! I hadn't thought of the grand cross for years until the other day. My life has been just one happy challenge, disaster, marriage, mess, after another and I had forgotten about the cross(my bd is11/52). Saying all that with a smile, DOES IT EVER STOP???? I wanted to know if the effect of being under a present cross intensifies mine? how do I put this cross to use for me,not against me??

test of how much I can take?!!! It never stops, I understand some of the grand cross- the conflict, etc. I was told it was like living 4 lifetimes in one, but it was to get me that much closer to the goal- God. I am getting tired from it though! I need to find a way to turn all the energy to not be against me, if there is a way. Does this make sense?

I was testing to see if there was something wrong with the website, as your inquiry somehow wound up on the wrong page.
Gin, there is a lot of nasty in the heavens right now. No one is moving much of anywhere. Mars square Saturn is frustrating, and only gets moreso the more you fight it. Plus there is fear in the equation (Neptune). If fear runs your show, it will lead you into making very bad decisions.
I have not seen your chart so there is not a lot I can do in the way of comment. But the lore is, for fixed grand crosses, the best thing you can do is surrender to the energy and stay centered. If you look at it this way, getting your cable turned off may have been the best thing that could have happened.
Meditation is very good for this type of inner conflict. I found vipassana meditation (see www.dhamma.org) to be an amazing thing for transforming my awareness and bringing greater inner peace.
Maybe you don't have time to join a course like that. But you do have five minutes to sit in silence with awareness of your breathing, don't you? Because then you know you are alive, and you will survive, and this too shall pass. And dedicate yourself to creating a better life. Not just on the surface, but very very deeply. That will change your energy. And your energy can change your reality.
If you have that peace, then you have the focus and strength to work on your other problems. If you continue to thrash about, frazzled and fearful, you just work yourself deeper into that hole.
And keep studying astrology, the awareness you get from it is incredibly helpful.
I hope this helps.
