Stressed out Virgo with Uranus opposite Sun

Hello Ms Molly,

Thanks for your August forecast. I just wanted to share my experiences in the past few months that I think have to do with the Saturn Neptune thingy.
I started a new marketing job last year that had great benefits and promised to further my goal of emigrating to Canada. In the beginning, I got along well with my boss and enjoyed the work.
But things have changed. My old boss left. I don’t like my new boss too much (and i think the feeling is mutual) and things have become so difficult.
I was really emotional during this past Mercury retrograde. But I didn’t want to make a decision of leaving while I was emotional. I spoke to my friends, I tried to find time to be alone and decided to stay on for at least another year. I figure I’m not getting any younger and I can’t just up and leave this job just because I don’t like the people anymore, not to mention that free tuition is still free tuition. I read another astrology forecast mentioning “discipline,” and I figure maybe I need a bit of that at this time in my life.
I’m also going through my Saturn return, so i feel restless all the time.
I enjoy your website. Thanks very much. I have one last tiny request though. is it possible for you to upload your forecasts a day before the start of the month? Because on our side of the world, we get a head start and have to wait till after lunch sometimes to wait till the US starts your first of the month and it’d be nice to have your words guide us as early we can get your guidance.
Thanks!
James
Hi there James—
Thanks for writing me.
Your Saturn return doesn’t actually get going until next year. I wasn’t surprised to see that. Although you do have Saturn transiting your 6th house, which signals workplace troubles, a Saturn transit is not typically a restless feeling.
(I don’t mean to understate the importance of Saturn and Neptune in your 6th and 12th; they have everything to do with you figuring out how best to support your health and well-being, both physically and psychically. But the major events around this theme occur next year.)
What you do have going on is
Uranus opposing your Sun and Mercury in Virgo, and squaring your Neptune in Sag. I suggest you read up on Uranus transits, which do typically bring restlessness and an urge to chuck it all and go surfing. Uranus wants FREEDOM and rebels against restrictions. It’s important that you give the energy some kind of outlet (like not chucking it all and going surfing anyway). Break up your routine, so the restlessness doesn’t get out of hand. Do kooky or exciting things that channel your energy and satisfy your urge to do something different. Use the energy, so it doesn’t “pool up” in your psyche and try to come out all at once. That way, you’re less likely to do something stupid or dangerous out of sheer frustration.

Meanwhile, it’s a good idea to avoid excessive over-stimulation with too much coffee, sugar, trashy TV, etc. Under Uranus transits, your system is stimulated enough! Further excitation can take you over the edge into anxiety or Great Cornholio style restlessness!
Escape is verrry tempting for someone like you with such a potent Sun Neptune square. But for now I think you’re wise to hang in there. With your natal Mars Jupiter conjunction and Sag on your Midheaven, I’ll bet you pretty much tend to land on your feet. This difficult situation is temporary; in fact, I suspect you’ll get some relief when Uranus changes direction in November.
Saturn is well aspected in your natal chart (sextile the Moon)— that means you’re no pansy when it comes to hard work, and you’re not one to bail on your dreams just because it’s difficult. And Saturn typically rewards that kind of long-term investment. So you have little to be afraid of concerning your Saturn return. When it comes along next year, it may just bring forth the goodies that you have been working for.
Blessings,
Molly
p.s. I’m glad you enjoy my monthly forecasts. I was late posting August, unfortunately. Normally I get them written well before the end of the month.
