Saturn, Pluto, Uranus, and the Stock Market

I haven’t talked about it much on the website, but I have been studying the stock market, and more recently, stock market astrology. So here’s a little rundown of recent events from my beginnerish point of view. Full disclosure here, I am not a financial astrologer! I am only just getting my feet wet with this. I am not a good trader yet, either. But I can share with you what I am learning about astrology’s connection with market movements, and show you where it comes from. Maybe you have something to share with me, too?
The current stock market rally began in early June when Jupiter was exactly conjunct Uranus. It continued into last week as Venus made soft aspects to the conjunction.
This week is a different story, as the Sun and Jupiter form hard aspects, translating light of both the Saturn Uranus opposition and Saturn Pluto square that are building in intensity this month and into July. Then we have a lunar Eclipse this weekend with the Moon conjunct Pluto. As we move into these heavy aspects, Tim Bost says (along with many others) that we are likely to start seeing a lot of downside, and soon. See Tim’s free Stock Market Vortex webinars for more info.
I highly recommend the Trader’s Almanac, published Jeanne Long and the crew at Galactic Investor. It costs $100 a year to subscribe. You get a calendar marked with the days that are most likely to be the big days in the market, or reversals. And you get a newsletter with lots of great articles and predictions by astrologers like Kaye Shinker, Georgia Stathis, Ted Phillips, Tim Bost, Ray Merriman.
I sound like a commercial, right? Nobody’s paying me. I’m just happy to share the great teachers and resources I have come across on my journey.

It would be nice if you can join the league of financial astrologer. I trade in currency(eg usd/jpy or eur/usd) and there seems to be no astrologer that know anything about currency trading they specialized in stock market It would be lovely if u can diversify into this line

I also focus on the stock market, but there are others out there who comment on currencies.

This is a very peaceful site I have come across.I read tarot and give predictions on Stock Market. It helps me immensely to know your views about the positive and negative phases in the market in advance.Thank you.
About Traders Almanac – I have checked the sample calender marked in red for the big days but how an average trader will know if it would be positive or negative ?

Sumantra, most times you don’t know which aspect is going to make the market go up or down. That’s why you should have a trading system. The astro gives you the key times when a reversal or big move is likely, but you must rely on your analysis and trading system to know how to play it.

Mam
Financial Astrologers are predicting the next trend changing day is on July 5th.Do you find more downfall or a reversal ?
Regards
Sumantra

It has the potential to be either one. This is where just being an astrologer isn’t enough; you have to have good trading skills, too. I don’t know what it’s going to do until it starts doing it. The price charts look like they’re in a position to bounce short term, so that may be what we get. But long term it does look like more trouble ahead.

Saturn enters Libra on 21st July and opposes Uranus on 26th.Mars enters Libra on 29th July too and on top of that Jupiter retrogrades from 23rd. This malefic combination will bring down Financial markets Globally, perhaps the heaviest correction of 2010.I would like to request your comment on this.

You may be right, Sumantra. Those can all be signals of a reversal. Like I said in my article, I’m not a financial astrologer. I am still very much a student of trading and I don’t presume to have all the answers. I suggest you check out some of the pros I have linked to. Best wishes ~

I love your website! I also love Astrology, But Sadly I barely Understand it. Ever since I got my chart made I have been terribly confused about who I am and Who I should be. I am Pisces so it is my nature to be confused. Is moon In a bad position making me anxious and detached? Please help I hate feeling mentally disorganized!

a few things. Markets really hated virgo/saturn 08 and opp pisces planets feb. 09. Libra is social. always remember. Mars on sun opp all that aries is weak!!!
Pluto in Cap is material. square libra is rationing. Soon it will be all commodities!!!!! or lack of. lots of worthless $$$, chaseing less and less!!!! Curriencies will swing against each other for awhile. Look at favorable aspects of national charts. The US is going into a pluto return where the federal reserve will try and take over!!!
China and the Arab block may want metals in return for oil. Mean while the US will try and capture the peoples wealth and find the bird has flown. Gemini rising America is a good idea IDEA. Libra trine ect will exaggurate feelings of Americanism…riots; sat. in scorpio will bring misery all 4 now

I think, perhaps, we may want to evaluate the stock market in light of the larger t-square, in which Pluto plays a huge role. Secrets and lies and manipulations. Those who are betting on the “financial wizard’s” of wall street better think of the land of Oz. The small guys in the market get chewed up and spit out by the big guys who control all those fabulous stock numbers. There have also been HUGE buy ups of stocks by an “unknown” entity (read The Fed – that private cartel of financiers using your tax dollars to bail out the market) to prop the whole thing up. Why? To lure the little guys in to play at their roulette wheel, which is controlled by the house. The very real numbers of unemployment and underwater homeowners do not support the balloon on wall street.
Pluto in Capricorn – institutions (financial and governmental, which are, at this point, one entity) going through plutonic meltdown. You do not live in a free market economy, neither did your parents nor your grandparents. No one has since the invention of the Fed in 1913. I highly recommend globalresearch.ca and marketoracle.com for some good, solid material on the real deal here. My own prediction is that, while we may see some upturns and spike ups (to cover up the fact its going down like the hindenburg), there is a long, slow step down going on. This is the stock market’s version of the real estate “quantitative easing” scheme that tries to hide the millions of homes in foreclosure and/or underwater. Pluto is the theme here and it is a time for the true numbers on all those balance sheets to be revealed.
Another good read is Lewis Hyde’s book “The Gift,” in which he discusses the spiritual wisdom (lack thereof) of commodifying everything in our lives. The sacred becomes more and more banished from our lives for the sake of “profit,” leaving us quite diminished in the long run. I believe this is the much larger, cosmic role Pluto is playing in our consciousness (or subconsciousness, depending on one’s level of self-awareness). The current situation, with Pluto at the helm, means a restructuring of ourselves and the institutions we have erected. The dollar bill is, in the end, a pretty paltry god.

I think Saturn effect on stock is undoubtedly of great importance and infact jupiters also

@SisterTongue
I read “The Gift” by Lewis Hyde right this summer, and I concur it’s a great read. It was really an eye-opener to me and I suggest everyone to give it a look!
Have a nice day to all of you.

It’s nice to see a sincere article about how one learns the basics of an interesting domain. I also thought about learning to use astrology in the financial market but for now, helping people directly is more spiritually fulfulling for me.
It’s great that you share the things you learn and the resources that help you do that with us, thank you for that, and thank you for the article also :)

Good covered point, lots of people simply put something weired theories
in front of public. But it doesn’t work i think because know one sure how
it will going to happen It looks like just coping ideas which someone has
already written. I found even on popular blogs guest bloggers bring same
theories which I already know. I observed they just try to spice up their
article without knowing what really audience want to read.
Thanks
