There I was reading Isthmus’ blog, and wow. One of those little jumps of electricity went through me. I got tagged— my fiery self likes that, feels like getting picked for the team. Dorky as that is. So here goes!

1. I’m currently reading:

  • The Book of Herbal Wisdom by Matthew Wood
  • Wyoming Stories by Annie Proulx (collection of short stories, one of which was made into Brokeback Mountain.)
  • Exploring Jupiter by Stephen Arroyo

2. I have dreams about odd romantic interludes in which I am cheating on someone and feeling badly about it. (I have never done so in real life.)

3. I am learning to play “Have you Ever Seen the Rain” on the guitar.

4. Books I own written by CG Jung (not to be mistaken for the books I’ve read by him lol): A friend gave me one called Synchronicity, but I never read it.

5. I suck at playing the guitar, but enjoy doing it.

6. The most random thing I’ve done is smoked pot out of a hole carved in a stone wall on campus at the University of Texas, crafted for that purpose and lovingly named “Tex.” It was fashioned so that you could view the state capitol building while partaking. Dubya was not yet governor. Those were good days.

Does that count as random?

7. The last album I bought was: Tracey Ullman on a whim.

8. I will never read: Ann Coulter
