I do not keep up with politics in any depth. The constant barrage of misinformation, lies, ploys, fighting. I listen in just enough to get the highlights, and am very much saddened by the threats being made against judges in this country. I even read that Pat Robertson said that liberal judges were a worse threat than terrorists. What an incredibly sad place we are in.. that a significant number of folks hear these ideas and take them seriously, and think they are good for our country, for the people, for democracy.

At the end of this year, Jupiter, the planet that rules judges, lawyers, and the courts, will square (conflict with) Saturn (limitations) and Neptune (confusion, misinformation), and oppose a retrograde Mars (anger and violence). I sure hope things will play out differently than they look to be setting up. Prayers for the safety of the judiciary, the preservation of the ideals and structures of true democracy, and triumph of peace at home and abroad—those prayers couldn’t hurt.
