You may have noticed I have ads on my website now!

I placed them in space I wasn’t using anyway. I promise not to become one of those sites with so many ads that you can’t find the article you wanted.

I hope you aren’t finding them too bothersome. I figure, I have been online since 2000. I get over 700 visitors a day. Why not start raking in a few nickels here and there?

And they’re kind of fun. Google uses the title of your page and the words on it to determine which ads to run. Shopping sites like Amazon or eBay that sell anything and everything, try to figure out from the words on the page being viewed what you, the visitor, might want to buy. So sometimes you get something like this:

Are you kidding me? I just got through three & a half teeth-gnashing weeks of Mercury retrograde, and now you want me to BUY one? I don’t care how great the price is!

(And what would the shipping on that cost?)
