Somehow Neptune sneaked quietly into Pisces for the first time since the early 1860s, while I was looking elsewhere. As the god of the sea enters his home territory, time for us all to do a gut check. Planets in their home sign operate with maximum intensity. So with Neptune, this is big time sensitivity and psychic energy, spiritual connection on the one hand, loss, disappointment, betrayal on the other hand. It hit me kind of hard, brought up some old emotional baggage from long ago. How are you feeling today?
Neptune will stay in Pisces for 4 months in 2011, giving us a taste of what’s ahead. Then he will back into Aquarius in early August, and return to Pisces in February 2012, staying there until 2025.
When you look at outer planets like Neptune as they move through the signs, their transitions tell a cultural story from decade to decade. Just an example from Neptune’s journey through Aquarius, technology advanced greatly, became more intuitive, and more pervasive in our lives. Everything is online now. Who would have thought we would have cameras and e-mail and banking and games and period trackers in our cell phones? Now that Neptune is almost finished with Aquarius, it’s commonplace. Now as Neptune moves into a new sign, we collectively explore a new realm. Pisces rules oil, drugs and poisons, spirituality and spiritual unity, as well as cultish activity and deception. Fear. The unconscious. Dreams and fantasies. Public health and sanitation. Clouds and “the cloud.” Water, oceans. The reality that, like it or not, we are all connected.
What are your thoughts? How will you use the powerful Neptune in Pisces energy for the greater good?

I’ve felt like total shit since tuesday for no reason. I thought with neptune leaving my sign i’d feel more clear headed and freer – instead I feel completely discombobulated.

That’s okay Ray, Neptune in Pisces will straighten EVERYTHING out for every being on this planet. People who have stuck with what they know is well and good in their hearts will shine like the Sun. People who have lived their lives underhanded will either be brought to their knees to make positive changes in their lives, or fall deeper in the hell holes they have dug for themself’s…….. Most people will come to realize what is really important in this life, and what has been fed to us that is just plain rubbish. Neptune will shake things up, and with Pisces you’d be a fool not to listen.

It’s hard to describe, but I changed everything about myself over the last year to improve my health and happiness. became a yoga teacher, became a vegetarian, consider new spiritual paths, received another degree… became able to hear from far distance away after being a musician for 20 years? quit my band last year at this time. Any way the gossip isn’t very flattering and competition is acting more like corporate tactics than yogi teachings. My band is in total hibernation. I’m trying more spiritual music to heal people especially the aging population. Any relief for my transformation?

Neptune just entered my sign for the first time in my life & it hit me with intensity, mostly good! We will treat others with more compassion & understanding, realizing we are all connected with everything & everyone around us. I will try to beautify my surroundings, truly listen to what people are saying, & spread good karma. On the other hand I will speak my mind, apply hard love when necessary, & demand the best in others. Shar, if you take the high road relief is yours.

Help! I’m a cancer with natal moon and neptune conjunct at 6 degrees of scorpio in the 9th house. Pretty soon transiting neptune will hit that from my second house.Any ideas what I could/shouldn’t use this transit for ?

Neptune in Pisces, huh… well, I don’t like it!
First off…. Neptune is never nice to people who are expecting stability. It’s challenged me greatly.
Neptune did the following (and is still doing):
—> Squared my Natal Moon in Sag
—> and Squared my Progressed Sun in Sag
—> Opposed my Progressed Mars / Natal Jupiter/N. Node
—> already “past” a Trine to my Natal Sun in Libra
—> all the while, Sun and Mars have hit a recent Eclipse point
—> all the while, most transits in my Natal 2nd House
1. ROOF LEAK. Came home to a steady single stream of water pouring down wall. From a “skylight”— get it? Sun-Moon in Sag… Sag = sky … Sun-Moon = luminaries (aka “light”…) eh eh??? Get it! LOL… funny but sadly true.
2. NO ONE WILL GIVE LOANS (despite a 772 credit score). Not enough equity on the house, and debt-to-income ratio too risky. Dealing with doosh-baggery all over the place with lenders (Neptune Opposing my Jupiter).
3. AMERICAN ECONOMY SUCKS, which = SimplyInsight going SimplyMad.
4. SMOKING CIGS LIKE NO OTHER LATELY. Extremely stressed, daily “fog” comes and goes, not eating right, know I should/could do better, general overwhelming feeling that life is sort of helpless. Out of darkness, I will one day just be completely hopeful and “trusting” of the Universe, to be down and out the next… fluctuations in perspective and moods.
5. WHAT IS THE FREAKING POINT OF ALL THIS???
Nice. SimplyNice. Eat your heart out, Neptune. Have at it. Take or do what you will, but I remain firm that you won’t have your way all the time… your day will end, Neptune, and you’ll be somewhere else, in someone else’s roof, or flattening someone else’s car tires. BOOOO!!!!!! Go home, Neptune! Oh wait, you are home. Nevermind.

I have been looking forward to Neptune’s entry into its own sign. But, I had forgotten to take off my Venus-in-the-12th-and-Neptune-in-the-5th rose colored sunglasses and I anticipated only that magical, elusive, shimmery touch to… the All. Hehe, I had “forgotten” about my natal Mars in early Virgo and the frustration this transit of opposing Neptune would most likely cause. And yes, it is there, although I’m only experiencing the very early parts of this long transit. It IS frustrating, but it IS also beautiful. I am familiar with the Neptunian themes as some of my natal (and personal) planets are in the 12th. Also, I am just through Uranus’s (and Jupiter’s) transit to my late Pisces MC, and have been really wanting to work with integrating the potentials in having this sign on the MC. I see this transit to my Mars providing me with profound opportunities to find out where my passion really lies, and how I can use it. (Neptune is squaring my Mars natally, so I am hoping to be able to integrate this combination of energies really well when this transit during this transit).
All in all, Neptune is frustrating, yes, but the reason for us experiencing “him” as so frustrating is our grand egos :). We want to keep on being selfish and stick to our own problems :). We want to have our old usual grasp, grip on what’s going on around us, interpreting reality from that old Saturnian perspective! Neptune into Pisces is SO fitting for these times (considering the Mayan Calendar, the recent shift into the Ninth Wave and closer to unity consciousness).
Much love,
Anna

Fantastic post I must say! So many interesting facts and so much to consider about how everything is affected by the sun, the moon, our planets and the stars. Looking forward to your next post!

It’s moved into my 11th house. A friend of mine, whom I’ve known for approx 6 or 7 years; we’ve been keeping in touch via cell, almost every day and I’ve become more aware of what a facade the entire friendship is.
When they are needed for something, empathy, what have you, they suddenly showed me a different face of theirs I’ve never seen before (partly because I’ve never reached out to them in ‘that way’ before) and it left me realizing that they’re not there to be really counted on (which hasn’t been the friendship that I feel I’ve been providing, by the way)
—North Node in Pisces falls in that house, form me.
Another friend tried to pull somewhat of a similar act and bail on something that they took liberty of putting upon themselves.
They came through, though I sensed what they were feeling and they even kept their distance and withdrew.
I appreciate everything that they have/have done as it is, it has played out in such a way that I feel I see no fog at all, on the contrary, it’s as if the fog is lifting!
Basically, somewhat of a ‘high and dry’, thing playing out with them.
Helps me see and understand in what ways I’ve perhaps overextended myself in the past and how I may have allowed for my goodwill to be taken advantage of for their own selfishness and definitely!!! put a new perspective on all the guilt I may have felt whenever they resulted to calling me selfish! (anything not considered to be what they wanted, was pretty much ‘selfish’; not true!)
I’m also feeling as if one particular friend is using me to fulfill her own neediness!
I’m taking a new approach as to how I relate to people and being more compassionate, yet at the same time, showing just as much compassion to myself, if not, more!
;and learning that yes, there are things and people that I will not allow to cross certain boundaries!
On the upside, with the help of Saturn in Libra’s transit right now, I finally brought to fruition a blog that I’ve been working on for quite some time! It’s been perhaps one of, if not the only significant thing to me that I’ve finished my entire life!
The blog dealt a lot with films and music and poetry, photography, etc.
The great thing about having a North Node in Pisces is that I’m quite capable and very willing to adapt to this change and find it quite easy, actually! -Not to mention a sigh of relief!

I love the dream part. I’ve had real gifts.
But… emotional distress also hit me hard. And my Neptune is the closest planet to my ascendant, so…
I just want to move on to doing something much more meaningfull to the world. Just wondering exactly how… feels strange. Better get prepared for Feb 2012… thanks for the advice.

I am feeling grief and sadness. I am a Scorpio and have lots of water in my chart, my Neptune is in Scorpio and so is Mars.
Feel like I want to stay under the duvet, finding it hard to stay present wanting to drift off, finding it hard to focus on work. Feel on the threshold of something but I am not sure what.

Im a scorpio….my whole life has been turned upside down. My husband of 31 years is actually sitting in a prison camp for the next three years, the government has taken my house, car, all bank accounts, in a case that is so beyond absurd I cant actually comprehend it. I moved from the south to the north and now back again, living out of a suitcase and sharing a room with my two small grandchildren while trying to keep myself from walking off the edge of this earth (now I know why the earth is round). Despite all of this I am finding Grace in the simplest things and such a letting go of desire for material things. I am being spiritually reborn, I just wish the pain wasnt so wrenching.

“Pisces rules oil, drugs and poisons, spirituality and spiritual unity, as well as cultish activity and deception. Fear.”
Most of those, besides spirituality, don’t sound as great as the technology advancement we received with Aquarius, surely there’s got to be something good in store with Neptune in Pisces?
If my Sun and Venus and is Pisces, how is Neptune suppose to influence my life?

How will I use this period for the greater good? I’ll be doing TONS of clearing of the alligators in my own swamp, of course – I’m an EFT Practitioner and Reiki Master – have premium clearing tools. And helping anyone seeking to do the same with the alligators in their swamps! Now’s the time people. We are moving into higher frequency, and it’s sometimes challenging. Carrying unnecessary baggage only holds us back and pulls us back down into a lower vibe. The more people clear, the easier this period of shifting is for ALL of us. We are all connected. :) ♥
