Here is the glyph for Mercury: a little person wearing a hat, like a delivery boy.
Mercury rules the signs
Gemini and
Virgo.
Ancient astrologers looked in the sky and saw a strange little light that followed the Sun very closely. He would show up just after sundown in the evenings for a couple of months, then disappear! Then he would show up in the mornings just before sunrise for a couple of months, then he was gone again! This was Mercury, messenger of the Gods, who got a reputation for going hither and thither and being something of a prankster.

loved your answer to D Brammer! wish more people would study astrology then all of the misunderstandings would be cleared up.

Yeah, but why study when it is so much easier just to make blanket judgments of other people.

Well I really love astrology and have been very methodic in practicing it’s effects on forcasting real life invents and psychologically the 12 life processes of the zodiac effects us biophysically and spiritually…planetary alignments and geometric science is prevalent in the cause and effect of the matrixed reality…positive and negative angles are at play here…But you cant explain this to someone who wants fast answers with no profound trial and error and keen investigative abilities…

@ Jasmin (and Molly)
I love astrology too; the symbolism of the planets and what they represent has been very resonant for me and a constant source of meaning in my life. But I’ve never gone into studying transits and am skeptical about it…how does one study transits? Maybe if I studied it myself I could finally decide whether my skepticism is warranted or not…
