On May 17, the Sun and Venus are both at 26 degrees of their signs. Sun in Taurus and Venus in Gemini. Over the next several days, they will move through the end of these signs and into new signs. Meanwhile, they will each aspect 4 of the slower moving planets, stirring up some powerful energies, on the way out: Jupiter, the Saturn-Uranus opposition, and Neptune.

When a planet transits the ending degrees (26-29) of a sign, it’s time to finish something, wrap it up, and prepare to move on, start another chapter. With four outer planets at ending degrees, this is a big theme in many of our lives. Especially if you have planets in your natal chart at ending degrees.

These two faster moving planets moving through ending degrees this week brings that idea home on a personal level.

The Sun forms easy angles to Jupiter and the Saturn Uranus opposition this week. It’s a high energy week when creative juices are flowing. We can move forward with major structural changes and pave the way for incredible breakthroughs.

However, change does cause stress and discomfort, either within us or around us. We see this in Venus, representative of relationships, things we value, and our general sense of well-being, coming into right angles (squares) to Jupiter and to the Saturn Uranus opposition. As we change, partners must change, and this isn’t always easy. Mutable signs under stress tend to feel shifty and neurotic. It’s hard to pin down exactly how we feel or exactly what others are planning to do. Venus is about to move into the more settled territory of Cancer. In the meantime, if you’re feeling off, take some time to find your center. Remember what’s important to you and why you are where you are. Forgetting this is what gets us into trouble at times like this.

Neptune is the key here. The Sun forms a stress aspect to Neptune, and Venus forms an easy aspect. The message is to allow things to flow. Don’t try to bend the world to your will right now. It will not work. Your imagination can be your greatest ally here, but don’t go overboard with it. You still have to be realistic, and know your limitations.
