Mercury is still retrograde

Caution lights around communications, contracts, transportation, and major purchases, through September 12. Use the retrograde to review, revise, rework, renegotiate, and plan for the future.

Jupiter conjunct Uranus in Pisces

Retrograde Uranus slipped back into Pisces last month. This month, retrograde Jupiter follows. With retrogrades, there is a sense of going back and working on matters that began in the past. In the ending degrees of a sign, it is a time of finishing up. It is not unlike moving into a new apartment and having to go back to the old one to do a final cleaning before turning in your keys. Jupiter will remain in Pisces for the rest of 2010 and re-enter Aries in January 2011.

Translation of light

The t-square between Jupiter, Saturn, and Pluto has weakened considerably, now that Jupiter has backed into Pisces, and Saturn has completed the final square to Pluto and moved on. But we may hear an echo of the tension of the last few months. A sticky situation comes to a head between the 20th and 30th, as the Sun translates the light of the weakening t-square, reawakening those energies and issues. Someone in your life is unhappy about the recent changes. Work out any differences with patience and a listening heart.

Venus retrograde is coming!

Venus is slowing down, entering the “shadow” zone of the retrograde that begins on October 8, the territory she will soon back into and revisit for a second time during the retrograde, and a third time after the retrograde. Now is the time to get major purchases, appraisals and negotiations done, because they are more difficult when Venus is retrograde; the issues are not as clear.
