Yep, I’m late. I know, and thank you, those of you who wrote to me, so kindly. Especially Molly T. in Hawaii, who said she hopes my mom is ok, and told me she liked it when I posted the calendar last November. Thanks, Moll. I hope you didn’t worry too much. Mom is doing fine, doing the same church lady things that make her happy, and staying healthy, knock on wood. This is a big weekend— happy Easter, happy Passover to those who observe.

Venus is my ruling planet, and here she is, retrograde in my sign. Whenever I make up my mind to sit down and do this, I just run out of juice. It feels like time is going by so fast, and that makes me feel very slow and unproductive. Does it seem that way to you? This retrograde has not been awful for me, I just feel like the world is going faster than I am. Anybody relate?

Strange though, that I have been enjoying answering questions on this site, and how much more easily the writing flows when it feels like I’m talking to someone.

So here it is, at Molly T’s request: April’s calendar page. Be sure to check it out, if only to see Mickie Bellah’s abstract painting of an Aries birth chart. It comes from my 2009 calendar, which is still available to download. I just lowered the price from $12 to $9. Still a buck a month.

I will definitely write something up for May, which is looking very interesting indeed. Meanwhile, I hope you don’t mind me doing April piece by piece until I get my writing mojo back.

Libra

There’s a full Moon today (Thursday, April 9), which means some things have run their course, are due to pull back and regroup for a while. The pendulum needs to swing the other way and balance things out. Lately I have been watching the stock market reverse on new and full Moons. Very interesting. Balance is the keyword here with the new Moon in Libra. It highlights relationships, give-and-take, and decorum. Be like good Libra— graceful, curious, seeking to understand another’s viewpoint. Ask good questions. Don’t be like bad Libra— argumentative, contrarian, and superficial.

Coming up, Venus is going to back into Pisces for about 12 days, the 11-23rd. Venus is comfy in Pisces, so this may be time to lay any eggs you have coming. I was going to say lay any eggs you have in your cloaca, but that sounds weird. Is that even correct? Anyhoo. Especially if you have a planet in 29 degrees of earth or water signs. Venus in Pisces can really help matters, and in 29 degrees, especially helps you wrap up loose ends and prepare to transition into something new. Set a target for June, when Venus moves back into her home territory— Taurus.

Mars conjunct Uranus coming up next week, roughly Monday through Wednesday morning. This is a surprise, something unexpected that jolts or electrifies you. It is highly creative, exciting and provocative energy, but it can be dangerous. This is not the day to go messing with the breaker box if you don’t have to. Be careful with anything that could zap you. Be careful in traffic— this can be a marker of accidents, as it brings out the daredevil in folks. Especially drunks. Easy does it.

Thursday and Friday, the 16th and 17th are much more relaxed. You can get things down on paper, and get organized as Mercury in practical Taurus trines Saturn. Good days to work out your schedule for the next two weeks.
