Jupiter square Pluto

Jupiter continues to move away from last month’s conjunction to Uranus, and into a square with Pluto. When this happens, planets are said to “translate light” from one to the other. It is as if Jupiter’s paintbrush picked up a little color from Uranus and now brings that shade to Pluto. This invokes the energy of the upcoming Uranus-Pluto square that will be in force 2012-2015. This is a powerful pairing that we haven’t seen since the mid 1960s. Even if you weren’t there, you have to know about the hippies, the social upheaval, the civil rights movement. Extreme (Pluto) unrest (Uranus). This is a “Jedi warrior” aspect that will have a strong resonance for people born during the Uranus Pluto conjunction in the mid 1960s. The coming years will shape the course of history for decades to come. Let us decide now, that we will make the most of it.

This month, as Jupiter squares Pluto, planet of power, these movements are in an embryonic form, beginning to take shape. New groups, new leaders emerge to fulfill emerging social or religious urges. Jupiter is “lots of,” and his dark side is “too much.” This is not the time to force an ultimatum, take out an unnecessary loan, charge up the credit card, or bring your life savings to the blackjack table. There’s a “loose cannon” flavor about this aspect. Play it safe with your health and your money.

Saturn opposite Uranus

Saturn comes into the fifth and final opposition to Uranus, putting the bookend on a process of change that has been in force since late 2008. Saturn is the rules and structures that define our lives and our society, and Uranus is a bolt of lightning that “zaps in” a new reality. The rules today look quite a bit different than they did before 2008, don’t they. Things have shifted on scales large and small, in our own lives, and the political landscape.

July 8-10, solutions come through clear thinking and collaboration. These are productive days for a staff meeting or strategy session.
