Four planets in freethinking Aquarius through most of February signals a month to team up, hang out with like minded folks. Venus and Saturn are in each other’s ruling signs all month— Venus in Capricorn/Aquarius and Saturn in Libra. This is called “mutual reception,” a condition that strengthens both planets, creating a special connection or alliance between them. Venus is the relationship and money planet, and Saturn governs commitments, contracts, rules, business, and long-term planning. Be realistic, and make financial and partnership decisions with your long term goals in mind.

North Node enters Sagittarius

On February 13, the Nodes move out of the traditional, “parental” signs Capricorn and Cancer, and into intellectual, idealistic Sagittarius and Gemini, where they will be for about 18 months. The Nodes are about how we connect with others. In Sagittarius, we connect around shared beliefs and wishes for the future, or conflicting ones. This is a visionary sign that longs for freedom and room to run. But we have to clear the way by dealing with the Gemini South Node— approaches, attitudes, information, and systems that are outdated and no longer useful. Over the next 18 months, the “how” has to adapt to the “why.” And we can all benefit from learning something new. Keep the big picture in mind.

The Nodes enter the new sign with a jolt as they immediately move into a square with Uranus. The square is in force essentially all month, strongest the week of the 21st. Here’s somebody’s middle finger. You weren’t expecting it, and it threatens to knock you off center. The North Node in Sagittarius is our compass. Keep the big picture in mind, let go of the unimportant details. Health-wise, nourish any areas where inflammatory conditions (Uranus) tend to be a problem.

Jupiter square Pluto

This square is in force from around the 5th to the 25th. Jupiter Pluto transits bring light and movement to stuck places, enabling major positive changes. It isn’t easy, but it can bring deep insights that free you from obligations that block your evolution. It’s a good time for a healing treatment or retreat, especially with someone you already know and trust. When you feel irritated with others, that’s the time to pay attention. Looking deeply into yourself is tough work, but it pays good dividends. Take responsibility— Pluto in Capricorn. And keep it above board— skirting the ethical boundaries or “fudging it” eventually lands you in hot water.

February 6-20, a cluster of transiting septiles appears. It’s an active time for people who channel or work with multidimensional phenomena like ghosts and UFO’s.
