Jupiter

(Jupiter, right)

I like the feel of 2009. And I finally connected it to Jupiter entering Aquarius. Two good reasons to like this change in the heavens: the first is that Jupiter was in conservative Capricorn all of 2008— the worst spot for the planet that rules expansion. Moving Jupiter into a friendly sign immediately improves our ability to grow and profit this year.

The second piece of good news is that Jupiter in Aquarius opens the door for all of us to meet new people and to expand our social and business connections. Yes, yes, yes. When I recalled these dates in my memory, 1997, 1985, 1973-4 and Jupiter’s travels through Aquarius, I realized this was when I was introduced to new groups with different interests and made a lot of new friends who gave me a new perspective and a lot of love.

So, for all of us, this is a very good year to be meeting new travelers, clients, neighbors and to be involved with groups that benefit society and mankind in some way. If you are looking for new business leads, new partners or a lover, check out a humanitarian and socially responsible group (Aquarius) that supports a cause dear to your heart in the months ahead. You are very likely to meet someone there on your wavelength in 2009.

My stance in these tough times is to be careful with money and to stash what I can. But I’m not broke and I’m not living broke. I have quadrupled my contribution to the local food bank and will do more to support the community. We’re cleaning out the closets of things we don’t use/need and giving them to the churches and Goodwill.

What’s really important to have and own? Pluto in Capricorn strips away the veneer and leaves us with just the basics— what is it that you really need to own? What’s priority? As times change.
